musings from work

dear diary,
im pretty bored at work now and apparently no one is free to entertain me so here i am.

i've always wanted to blog about how amazing/pathetic it is to see so many people whom u know online on msn and yet u feel that there is none whom u can really "speak" too. Even ur good friends who are online, they seem to be busy with sth else. and i dun really like to karchiao them. hmm. perhaps this is yet another classic case of so near yet so far.

on love,
recently i have a few friends who are on opposite ends on the spectrum of love.
while some are happily in the budding romance stage where there is mutual attraction, lotsa gifts and heart thumpings.

the other, one way street, is feeling bothered and frustrated. several extreme measures have been taken to avoid the "stalker".

Singing tgt with OPs @ teo heng has been enjoyable. im glad that i found ppl like WH and G that can go crazy and appreciate the lyrics. But still, my fav kboxing fren is still YUNY!( can we pls have one session, just the 2 of us from 1-7? keke)

i love it when ppl fights to sing with me. and i dun feel that alone. yuny i really miss u... :( hope u are doing fine with everything... and i realise im really not a big group person. i am more comfortable in small groups, best in pairs. so i can devote all my attention to that one and only person and not kill myself trying to keep everyone entertained and involved. cuz at the end of the day, the most tired person is myself. should stop thinking too much also. grr.

i guess i should try to replace my mood therapy to singing instead of eating.

oh, i learnt that guys dun really like to sing emo songs during k... but i happen to love singing emo songs... neh mind, next time mayb if im despo enuf i will go kbox alone and sing my heart out and wallow in self pity.

dear diary,

i think if i ever have children next time, i would want a daughter.
As much as i love little boys more than little girls.
I think in long term, daughters are much more 贴心than guys.
At least i tink momo and i loves mama more than kx and kw loves their mum.

I felt so sad today when i tried to surprise C aunt with a bday cake with candles on it @ the restaurant but when i brought it out, kx, kw and A was just like staring at me like im some freaking alien. HAIZ. and C simply blew it out as if it was some kinda fire gg to explode in her face.
All the effort done the drain and instead of making her day i seem to have dampened it. KNS.

So much for trying to be nice.

i should have went out with qing to collect my specs instead. haiz.

to cheer myself a little: yay, the internet connection at my workplace is back so i can listen to music and chat online le. Yippie.

Spending Sunday

dear diary,
today is officially spending sunday cuz i literally spent quite alot.

i got a new phone. SAMSUNG U900. looks pretty cool but hmm, abit not so user frenly. i guess i was blinded by its 5megapixels too quickly. i realise that i have to slide the entire phone up to take pics which means that i cannot take those sneaky shots. boo. the touch screen is abit of a hazzle to me as well. grrr

my K618i has failed me too many times:(((

then i got 2 New Badminton Rackets. Yonex rackets for just $9.90 each!!! super good deal rite, but its for the begineers that kind la. YAY! cant wait to play!!!!

then i got my ****@ E2. super damn cheap. i dono how it can drop from $69.90 to just $9. muahaha, 我赚到了！ hee.

mama got a new haircut and colour.
mei recontracted her plan and got a new Free phone Sony Ericcsion K770i. haiyo, i abit regret, should have gotten that instead. got 3.2 mp also lo.

this lovely mild-tempered sweet girl whom reminds me of Priscilla and momo. we are both Monsters and im so gleeful of wad she told me in front of the REd tea longan store... made me feel that all these was worth it. somehow, we share highly similar values and sentiments for quite a number of stuff. :)))thanks for helping me carry my heavy birdie bag during Ubin:) really appreciated it

Wan Lee:
dun mess with this fiesty lady else u'll land urself in a heap of *&^*()#&(. haha, despite all these pipipabipu. Her role of lao sun in the skit was one of professional standard. haha. from her, i learn that hmm, i got lots more to learn. haha. wadz pcc? hmmmm

Poh Ling:
very easygoing and her role of Rambo was really cute too. Haidai ah haidai! very nice girl. Very charitable too as i learn from the convo at Night cycling, has a passion for the elderly like me. yay, 我们都是好心人。 lol

Arnold:
haha omg, i tink he's the one that made a 180 degree change. From the reserved and man of little words in the ice breaking session. He evolved into an aqua, a dragon whipper, very very funny. and im really glad that he did so. hes also our sole male freshie. haha, but i dun tink he was ever lonely la... haha. another 好心人too.

JunRen:
initially i tot he was gonna be one jia gan tang, but to my pleasant surprise, haha, cheena pok thru and thru. The skit wouldn't have been there without him to direct. Learnt from adeline thats hes a damn zai kayaker too. fire wouldn't have been raised w/o him too.

Eugene
the quiet contributor. one of the nicest guy in the group. haha, thanks for offering to help to carry the desserts and showing concern. our wonderful narrator for the campfire skit.

WeiHuang:
one passionate and dedicated senior. Despite taking some time to warm up, he was a great assistant to Adeline and thanks god for that cuz i failed miserably. haiz. cute dragon dance too.

Adeline:
our power ogl with the smallest of size but largest of lung capacity. oh gosh, hear her cheer! haha. Never failing to show me things from different perspective and thru this camp, i feel like im getting to know her better and better. Tgt we've been thru the saigang, and fun times and sad, sian and emo times. 患难之交 ah

Xin Han:
din get to talk to him much but he's one of the most optimistic guy i've seen. very happy-go-lucky. in the situation of tension and complaints, he is the one that chills and remain cool headed.

Lester:
after spying his facebook i realise that my impression of him formed during datuk is completely flawed. haha, one nice guy that shows concern and knows how to make people smile.

Geraldine:

its never easy to be the head. her dedication and passion is remarkable. an easily pleased girl too.

the 3 sleeping beauties^
the lovely convo that was much much needed @ the end of the camp. stupid subway should stop blasting their music so loudly. haha. Im really really glad that despite all the "u piss me off, and i piss u off" things that we do to each other, we still iron things out:) And its only when u get into shitty stuff that u realise that so many people care for u and will be there to help u. Things aint THAT bad afterall. haha

Generally i tot that everyone become more enthu during the skit rehearsal and was at apex during the campfire. It was a pity that i wasn't able to participate in kayaking, but well, i got to know of some interesting 内幕消息while helping out with stores. I realise 我跟watersports very 没有缘分。 Like during Stong trek, i wasn't able to water repell down the waterfall due to the impending rain. :(( I enjoyed myself the most during night cycling:) loved the freedom and feeling of being in control and also the feeling of wind blowing past. Looking fwd to cyclohunt! hee.

On a side note, I realised that my family is really adorable. I love my family so much! And i really have a new found passion for treks and rovers activities! i love meeting people who loves to sing and share similar interests too:)))

Reminder to myself: PLease, tolong dun fall sick b4 a camp. It sucks big time to be damn cui and nua and sian.When u try so hard to keep ur freaking heavy eyelids to open. "I tried so hard and get so far, but in the end, it doesn't even matter."

All in all, it was a great experience being a facil during Risco, i guess i would want to join the next camp. Hee! and im tempted to buy a trekking bag, mayb can get for my bday present ah. *hint hint*

im so thankful that shes around to chat/sms/msn/facebook with me during these days cuz my work can make me really bored at times. Through nana, i learnt many many things. She opened up a whole new world to me. Haha, and shes definitely a very unique fren whom i can share some DIRTY secrets with. keke... i can foresee that nana will def be one friend that many many years down the road, we will still meet up and chat. 知心好友 aptly summarises what she means in my heart. :) LOVE ya!

Thanks people like JJ(omg year 4?!~passionate sia), Wan Xin, Zhong Qing, Zhan Wei for being so spontaneous and coming along! I hope to meet more nice people like them. Generally i feel that Rovers people are really nice and are of similar frequency. I do hope this opinion of mine holds true through the camp.
