Anyway, theres a movie called THE GREAT HAPPINESS SPACE (the irony!)
(abt Jap host guys deluding female customers. The adonis sells "dreams" to women, making them feel in love, feel like a princess). Put it across blunty, they are male prostitutes that try to satisfy customers without engaging in sex. Women fall head over heels over them spluging exorbidant amounts each night over these host guys that continue to charm them.

twist is, 80% of the customers there are in fact sex workers.

its pure anguish to see these women trapped in their vicious cycle. They do more sex work to splurge their money on these hosts to seek that momentary magical moment.

thing is, all of them know that they are just deceiving one another. (host knows customers dun love them, customers know host are plain liers) yet they still continue to live in this make belief world.

literally drowning themselves in a pack of lies.

makes me wonder... is it really better to live a lie?
